Today is "after action" cleanup, washing utensils, putting away the canning equipment, rearranging the storage (FIFO), inventory, planning for the circa-Holiday Proteinaceous sales, for yet another spate of Freeze-Drying.
Meatloaf(s), Ham Steaks, Seasoned Ground Meats of various Cultural palettes, maybe (if I'm lucky) some Game Meats - are next up in a Month or Two.
Ended up being 43 Quarts of AppleSauce, and total output for Two Day's Canning, plus Six Days' Freeze-Drying (running Concurrently/overlapping), over 80 Quarts of Fruit: Bananas, Peaches, Pears, and those durn Apples...We're all Three taking it easy today!
When you're unmotivated by money, power, or fame, it's very hard to have a conversation about work product and effort with a person that only knows those three things as a currency. Something tells me these people inherited their money. Might be their sloppy ways and sloppier waistlines.
I absolutely loathe having to come into the city to work. It is almost not worth it anymore. Everybody has lost their damn manners and nobody seems to know what a turn stick on that wheel those anymore. Going Galt looks better and better everyday. Truly wish I could make a living in my little zone of semi still kind of Mayberry.
