What's for Dinner?

I cooked hot & sour soup from scratch. Whenever, I get it at Chinese restaurants, I just drink the broth and don't eat the stuff that's in it. Instead of putting tooofuu and the other chinese stuff in it, I shredded some chicken breast and put some noodles in that I found in the Asian section. I also beat two eggs and put them in at the end. The soup was incredible and tasted just like it does at chinese restaurants. I think next time I might skip the noodles though. This soup is low calorie so it's good for diets.

I used this person's base recipe and tweaked it quite a bit.
https://amyinthekitchen.com/hot-and-sour-soup/

I only used 32 ounces of chicken broth, instead of 6 cups (48 ounces). I also didn't put in any mushrooms or tofu and I put in more rice vinegar, alot more sirarchi sauce and more white pepper than the recipe called for. I also put in shredded chicken and some noodles. I'll probably skip the noodles next time. The best part is putting the eggs on it. Don't skip that.

Chimichanga!

Love um.

I grew up in South Texas on the coast. With legit Tex-Mex food and fish and shrimp still twitchin' on the drive home. But I never had a chimichanga until recent years. So good!!!

And then I (well, we) made some Churros from a mix. Damn! They were good. Best I've had since being back in South Texas.
