Possible reactions to the return-

What did you expect?
Dude...it's a Highpoint!
Ya get what ya payfor!
Cheapskate!
It'll still make a good paperweight.
Save the empty casing and toss the pistol.
Warrany? What warranty?
Nuh. I have no doubt they'll make good on it. It was one of my reloads that blew it up tho.
So wall of shame or back to the factory? That's the only question.

I would send it back.
first pistol (semi auto) I owned was a C9 and I still have it. has been flawless.
Same here Harb.
Well until that round.😂
send it back. it gave you a benchmark on hot loads
It wasn't a hot load.
I failed to heed the advice of my betters apparently.
Those reloads I hammered out with cast bullets didn't chamber so I reworked them by resetting the COAL .06" shorter and crimped tighter.
While that worked somewhat, you can see what happens with an over pressure and partial ejection.
That case was still partially in the breech.
That said, the Berrys plated reloads that were exactly the same, functioned just fine.
The struggle is real.

@LostViking - What brand/size of the canned roast beef? I rarely accompany my wife on Costco runs, but I know that we've rotated out a lot of our canned meat (mostly ham, chicken and turkey) and need to replenish the stash. We haven't tried any sort of canned beef, other than corned beef hash.
Sorry Just saw this,

This is what we picked up at Costco,

This is what comes from the Amish and Meijers,

In individual cans.

Hope that helps.

It appears to me, that since the stage for the spread of the Ukrainian war is being set across eastern Europe (for now), it would behoove us all to redouble our preps of food, medicines, and possibly "freedom seeds" stores in the event of massive disruptions to shipping (again) and scarcity of availability of items. Some of us are so situated to expand fuel storage too. Communications are pretty high up on my list - and recent internet "glitches" have been oddly timed. Those glitches are going to impact banking & investment.

In the event of a nuke in DC... definitely time to take steps to prep for that crap too, if you haven't.

The Fedgov looks to be self-destructing too... and the rule of law continues to deteriorate.

Just feels like it's time to rotate stocks in the bunker and make ready. If it DOESN'T happen (by some miracle)... well, all the rest of the problems that seasonally occur will be covered.

I kinda think "fear" is what happens emotionally - an instantaneous reaction to coming face to face with the sudden realization that the time to "prepare" is gone, and now one is dealing with a reality that required some preparation to survive. (Usually, all really commonsense stuff that one puts off.)

There's a guy I watch for on Timebomb, that teaches Austere Medicine and sells kits/supplies. He also runs classes & sells at gun shows. His most recent show, a week ago, he reported on people's comments about "getting ready for what's coming". Guns & ammo, rare calibers even of old weapons, pretty much sold out. His sales were good too.

Anyway, this kind of scuttlebutt, leads me to think availability/price inflation will be hitting all kinds of prep items. We've already seen huge price jumps in FD food. And when larger groups of people are parting with ever-decreasing purchasing power for those kinds of items... it would seem to portend a collective consciousness that the world situation is about to dive deeper down the bowl of the porcelain god.
