I more or less revisited my spring shopping routine, which includes filling any gaps in the canned goods, and adding toilet paper, paper towels, baby wipes, etc. Courtesy of friends (or friends of friends) I was able to get in on what appears to be the last reasonably-priced .223 and 9mm coming out of the nearby Federal plant, which inspired some organizational work in my basement lair.

No way I'm going to have a rain collection system in place this year. The landscaping around our house is absolutely not suited to rain barrels. I thought about setting up something by our shed, but it's underneath a couple of mature trees and would just end up being more debris than water.

Spent a Wonderful Afternoon, building from parts. TWO AR-15 Lowers, and cleaning, adjusting, repairing a Sweet Old Grandmaw's (81 Years Young) Belgian Semi-Auto 22 Rifle - you know the one - loads through the stock, breaks down. Hers has a really Beautiful Stock, with extensive figuring. Bit of a sad case, though - speckled with Rust. Bore is good. Rear Sight is broken, and is so old, is completely different from the replacements offered by Brownells or Numrich.

Gotta have pics

Today...not a damn thing.

I had a slight headache from last night's drinks. I was in a mood.

Went for a walk. Killed hours surfin' on the internet. Ordered a leather cover for my Moleskine idea journal.

O yeah - spent 2 hours fixin' the fuck-ups from standard issue incompetents that screwed up my cell company switch over.

Now, I'm watching episodes of Supernatural.

0.0 productivity. And I'm still in a mood.

Here's a view inta the inner workings: Daughter, Dungeon-Mistress to several D&D clans, has need for a Gob-Smacking Upgrade Gaming/Programming Confuser. She typically buys Near Bleeding Edge Confounders. I can get Hers, For Free, when She makes the move. She finds best High end deals when the bargains go on sale near the Holidays, before the January New Generation HotRods are introduced.

Her cast-off, used and abused bit flippers are generally Very respectable units, faster and more capable than anything My Applications require.

Just being a good Steward. The Sands in My Personal Glass are trickling down, and I wanna leave a few Renminbi for SWMBO and She Who Chooses to play with...

Besides, Ol Sol ain't cooperating just Yet, for Our Adventures with Radios.

So you likee tail hook? Been tempted many times. Don’t know where all this is heading so I may curtail pistol builds because of the uncertainty.
ghost brother ghost.........:devilish: yep that latch and lever a lot easier to use more stable than some of the others for shooting like a pistol. dont go around the arm, arm sits on a shelf.......... I used the older alloy A model....... im moving more and more back to simplicity
