Yesterday, it was Drag all the Various Planters and Pots Near the House, to "Protect" against the advent of Cold and Stormy. Also Blew what Leaves have accumulated on the Driveway and Entry Stairs, to keep from getting the "Unable to Deliver" nastygrams from FedEx,UPS,and U.S. Mail wimps and weenies.

Had to order Parts to Refurb the Borrowed Pressure Canner - Would not Seal, and gauge looks sketchy.

No preps per se today, but anytime I use those prior "preps" I get a warm fuzzy. The best money I've spent is on tools. Today's work was made possible by a sliding compound miter saw and a framing nailer. Both were midrange when I bought them them but they've paid for themselves many, many times over. These and others put jobs that would be outta reach time wise into "yeah, I can get that much done in a weekend."
cant decide if the small ECHO limb saw or the Milwaukee high output 1/2 impact is the best tool addition this year but it is neck and neck.

Chewsday, Pressure Canned Eight Pints of Buttah. Will do another Eight today in Pressure Cooker Borrowed from, and refurbished for Our MAG Member/Friend.

Also picking up Two Iridium Electrode SparkPlugs for Her Generator, and Gapping for Propane. DIDJA KNOW? - If you are using a Genny on Propane ONLY, Ya never need to use the Choke, and Making the Sparkplug Gap a Bit Smaller gets You better Starts and Better Efficiency. Around 0.22 Inch is 'Bout Right.

EDITED TO ADD: You Still Need to Remember to Use the Choke when Putting Genny Away - Keeps Critters from taking up residence in the Intake Tract, and Limits (slightly) the Ingress of Moisture laden Air...

Tried to wait until cooler weather (it’s low 90s today) but I am digging a 2x2x2 foot hole next to my shop building for a 40 foot antenna tower. Installers are coming the 6th don’t have my backhoe mounted on the tractor and it would be pretty tight space anyways.. So digging by hand. We don’t really have soil. It’s all rock and rock dust and whatever soil the wind blows in. So, took off the top layer and then flooded it came back a half hour later and using a pick and a tile smasher,I got down another six inches Flooded it again and waiting for it to sink in. I suspect this will go on several days.

Hey @Bud ! You an Amateur Radio Operator or Biggerer? Rent a Post Hole Digger/Auger and make a Buncha Holes There? Or Too Solid?
Too solid. As long as I keep it filled with water I can keep scraping off the top layer. I can only last 3-4 hours because J am still having some problems since the last surgery. Plenty of time left to get it done.

Downloaded My Favorite Looking 3-D Printed Case Plans for My Two Meshtastic Radios...extracted, and Gonna Set Up the Printer to go at it during the Night.

Ordered Two 9.3 dbi Gain Antennas to replace the Mini Ones supplied with the Radios.

Looked into making a 915 MHz 4-Element Yagi or Quagi for Testing. Teeny Thing!

No/Off Internet Texting, Here I come!
