I agree.
But perhaps in the "old days" our American society was tougher and handled these things more...aggressively.
In the old west, I've read if you were stupid, you'd get shot. And probably by a 12 gauge cuz 6-shooters were too expensive for most.
These days we have...gun free zones.
We need to begin a new era where a sidearm is like boots or a wallet. Just something you got on ya at all times.
