I am having some fun looking at various properties for sale. I started thinking about proximity to nuclear reactors in the event of a catastrophic failure (be it man made or natural). I came across this cool interactive map. It locates nuclear reactors and includes a 50 mile radius circle around each one. Have fun, lol.

Right next to the pentagon should also be Andrew's airforce base. Fort mead base and naval academy. Dover airforce base is very close. I'm so screwed

I agree! I remember when the “Cold War ended” and I drove onto Norfolk and right up to the piers without anyone checking my ID. It was weird.
There was a sub in dry dock with the baby sub attached being repaired and people walking around snapping photos.

Visited the Aircraft carrier in Charleston SC around 1992. You could stand on the flight deck and watch the navy ships coming and going.
