Carlson does a second podcast that I have not yet listened to. Joe Rogan has some very interesting people on occasion. Sometimehis style annoys me, but there's some solid content. Jocko Willink has some good visits on Rogan, Steve Rinella has a couple good ones. There are some that I won't even try to listen to though.

Break up a 6" wide piece of your slab all the way around the outer perimeter of your basement.
Dig trench 6" deep. Line trench with 1.5 " Schedule 40 perforated pipe (holes up) and top with #2 crushed stone until even with slab grade. Connect to vertical pipe with impeller evacuation blower inside. Vent through roof.
Just be careful about your chimneys.
If you a have a flue for your oil burner too close to your wood stove/fireplace flue.
The negative pressure vacuum in the basement will cause the woodsmoke to get sucked back down the oil burner flue and fill with basement with woodsmoke.
Took me a while to figure this one out.
Radon Evac system was installed after the fact, and the person's basement was filling with woodsmoke.
