Todays fire wood adventure...

Went into the local woods to procure some firewood and after cutting a few loads and hauling it out I found a perfect cut piece to prep for a one stick fire...


But it was a bit thicker than the Condor Mini Bushlore so I had to make a hastened wedge to split it...


But after successfully driving the wedge and splitting it I caught myself with the mallet (other log) I used for hitting the wedge...


After a quick field repair...



We were back at it...


Now I can use my knife to finish...




We'll get to the fire later...

That reminds me I need a range kit.
Took a lil chunk outa my thumb a week ago and didn’t have anything but an oily gun rag. Sucker kept bleeding. Looked like Texas Chainsaw massacre on lane 8. 😳
Wiped up the best I could🤣
