Sorta mediocre appt. Progress measured in inches. As usual. I threw a rock thru the wall & created a window: maybe. Time will tell.

I actually kinda liked the ending. It was soft - even Beth's encounter with Jamie, wasn't nearly as nuclear as I expected. And I was right about the solution to keep the ranch intact as it had been. See: 1883 (?) was it? Nice touch to bring Elsa's voice back at the end. Yeah I miss Costner. Yeah, I miss that landscape.

It's been 40 years or so, since I asked the trail ride guide - where are we going? And she said, pick a direction and I looked, and there wasn't a fence to be seen. And I got to live my own personal John Wayne movie.

THAT was a durn good series. Loved the cinematography. Loved the ranch lives, the horses. Great Story.
