The Haunting of Hill House

If you're getting in the Halloween frame of mind, this is along the lines of classic haunted house with a solid dose of psychological thriller. Series is on Netflix. Very engaging - and the D and I have both jumped a couple times.

Started watching last night. Seems to be a good creepy show.

It's a challenge for me. I've had too many weird real-life things happen that I'm cautious about letting stuff like this into my psyche. But, I'm intrigued by the treatment of the dysfunctional family dynamics... and the spooky stuff really is in the "classic" vein (so far)... and it's one of the better things we've come across. American Horror Story was more of a comedy to me. Farce. The new season though, is titled Apocalypse... so I'm curious what they've come up with this time.

We watched the episodes 1 & 2 so far, easy enough to follow the bouncing back and forth timelines, but I find disappointing overall.
I’ll give it a couple more shows before I toss the towel in.

just finished it. its not as scary as i would like. i thought it was a horror series, more like a creepy ghost mystery.

I fell asleep on the last couple, so I’m tapping out. I’m not saying it’s a bad show, just not in my wheelhouse is all.

Wife and I have enjoyed it. Interestingly, we watched episode one and went back to watch the second episode and it showed us having watched 3 episodes. Joked with the wife that our streaming is haunted now lol.
