I can understand that. We're too far south for them here so unless I happen to be north of here at the right time of the year and someone with a tree takes pity on me, I'm out of luck for them. They don't even sell them around here.
It's a smallish tree, grows to about 25 feet usually, that has a stinky bloom in the spring, then sometime between August and October, depending on the variety, has these kinda ugly looking oblong fruits that taste like a cross between a mango and a banana. Again depending on variety, some types lean more toward the banana taste, some more toward the mango taste.
