Final Trailer

Got our tickets for opening day Friday. Dec. 20th. 12:30pm.

I mean...we can't NOT watch it. Might as well finish it up.

I fully expect to see it in the theater, although almost definitely not on opening night. Unlike a lot of folks who are really down on the last two, I enjoyed them for the most part, although I think Kylo Ren is a piss-poor villain, if he is really even is one. I care a lot less about Rey's origin than Snoke's, so I highly doubt I'll get closure in that regard since there seems to have been no mention at all of him, unless he was supposed to be Palpatine's "interim" apprentice after Vader.

Rogue One was great, I thought, but I've only made it about halfway through Solo, as I skipped it in the theater and can never make it more than an hour into anything on TV. The worst of the lot, barring a complete clunker on the grand finale, was The Phantom Menace. I mean, sure, we hadn't even been subjected to the horrible "romantic" dialog between Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman at that point, but it gave us Jar-Jar, which was unforgivable.

I liked The Force Awakens. I REALLY did not like the second one.

But JJ Abrams is back doing the third. (He did Force Awakens)


...like I said, I have to go see it. I'm hoping its good.

I wasn’t all that optimistic after the last one but this looks really good I might actually see it in theater.

I gotta say I enjoyed the hell out of this movie. It had its issues, but I was grinning ear to ear most of the film

We went to see it today! Loved it! Had tears in my eyes twice... Was it the best one? No... But it had everything I wanted from it!

I'll wait a week or two before discussing as to not give any spoilers away.

This actually makes more sense.. to me, anyways..

George lost me at the whole jar - jar thing, too.. not knocking him... he had a vision
and he had his money to do his thing.. now everything will be micro-managed by
Disney execs to the point where it becomes just another box of cornflakes . Wait until
they bugger up the Marvel franchise... go back and watch the first Iron Man and look
at how ground- breaking it was on so many levels.
Pretty soon, 2 or 3 companies will own EVERYTHING..

Lets get a season two of Mandalorian that leads into a big ass motion picture.
