Hey Handload! Grev! Sentinel! Viking?
There's a LOT of vids on this channel as Leo & crew rebuild this old sailing yacht. The craftsmanship is superb. The concessions to modern materials/technology/techniques also interesting to follow as they make decisions. They still have a ways to go before launch but there's a good body of work behind them already to immerse yourself in.

The guys act out their own commercials for sponsors sometimes too; and they are totally hilarious!

I tend to prefer my boats slightly smaller and less expensive. But still way cool to watch.

Either a Boston Whaler (the Beeg One, with TOO MUCH HORSEPOWER), or a 55 Foot (or thereabouts) Double ender Motorsailer. Is My Flavor. Gotta have Headroom/Berth for me - more than 6'5".

Oh, I know this is a pipedream for most of us, but I really enjoy learning about what all goes into making it "work" as a space and a boat. They've even got other channels making them bits & pieces - one guy made a violin from some of the original wood.

At the Academy, I was "inducted" into both the Power (boat) Squad and the Sailing Team, cause they ALWAYS needed to replace or repair broken stuff. As a Plebe, I was uncommon in that I was good with Welding and Machining tasks. I was the only Plebe with unlimited pass to use any of the boats. All, that is, except the Research Ship.
