Burned almost as much oil as gas.
But never quit on me.

Getting into it in the winter was an adventure with an inch of ice on the floor.

No leaks on mine, but the front fenders rotted off. Replaced under a recal, but GM wouldn’t pony up for paint, so I had a red car with Black front fenders.

Yup. Don't think they made many.
3500 cars in 75 & 76. 5000 engines.
They were double the price of a regular Vega.
$900 less than Corvette.

always wanted a AMX or a JAVLIN. ended up with a AMC SPIRIT sport.came original with a 360 and 4 speed i called it my lil evil spirit you had to bump the doors to get em open. lil unibody was so tweaked by the V8,the positrac locker and the 4 speed body just couldnt stand it

Dad had a 74 Maveric.. until mom wrecked it then he got a Cutlass I think.

I've had a Maveric and a Vega, would love to get my hands on a new Maveric from a mine.
