Talk it Up, Maybe make Presentations to GRoups I am a member of, use My Engineering Acumen to "Translate" and/or Answer Questions about the Vehicle. They have given Me access to Lots of Engineering info, and will Be Gviving Me access to Engineers and Folks in the Company at the Production Level... (They haven't Unlocked this stuff just Yet - Maybe Tomorrow.... This is a "Different" sort of Approach - They are apparently eschewing an Advertising Campaign/Budget.

Biden Admin just MIGHT have done something right?? Seems thay have Restarted the EV Tax Rebate Progrm, with Great Benefit for the Aptera buyers: $7500.00 Credit! For Example, the One I have Ordered, @~35,000, will then only effectively cost me 27,500 Fiat Chits. The Entry Level one, at Circa $22K with the Proposed Tax Rebate. Bill is before congress Committee atm...

interesting but I am very hesitant to do anything with electric vehicles. There is no way in any fashion enough electricity to recharge hundreds of vehicles in my area.
This One Recharges just sitting in the Sunlight, and It doesn't even have to be Direct, or from a Clear Sky, just Daylight. If You order the maximum Solar Cell Package, it can collect 43+ Miles a Day [maximum gain of Range IS calculated when in Direct Sunlight, in the Lower Latitudes of CONUS]. If You don't drive a Lot, (like Most Folks), it may only need to be Hooked up to the Grid a Few Times a YEAR, depending on Your latitude, and Driving habits.

Think about it- We are transitioning to Electric Vehicles, pushed along by artificial price rise on petroleum juice. Nearly all EVs are "Charge it from Mains" - The Aptera Charges from Sunlight DIRECTLY - No conversion losses from Home Solar Systems, and Little to No Charging from Mains.

If, in the EV era that is undeniably "coming soon", Gummint wanted to confine folks to their Home areas, what would be an easy way? Shut off Power! Aptera would still have full range.

Licensed as a "AutoCycle" in all but Three States. No helmet required. Go to APTERA.US see it there. Buy one and take delivery BEFORE I get mine (not likely) and tell them I referred You, and I net $700.00. You do that, I'll shoot you $200.00. In any event, I can get You a $30.00 discount off A $100.00 "Reservation" (that is completely refundable, should You decide not to buy Yours).

EDIT: NY just enacted same law, so now, it is only ALASKA and ??Michigan?? that still require Heelmets. by the time the APTERAS are being Delivered, in late 2022 or first quarter of 2023, it is anticipated that all states will allow "No Helmet" driving of the APTERA.

Delivery is sliding, like nearly all new company initial model cars that DO go into production. Presently, first (simplest) model, the 400 mile range, two-wheel drive one, in one of the standard three colors, is: "late 2022/early 2023"

The NHTSA Testing is Scheduled, not underway just Yet. Cockpit/Structure is MUCH stronger in Private testing - Vertical Crush resistance is More than Seven Times as Strong as NHTSA Requirements. Curvy Composite Structure is nearly same strength in any Direction IMNSHO.

My thoughts in this area are that the NHTSA will have to add a test in the future, regarding G-Loads imposed on Occupants by Big/Heavy hitting a Strong/Light Vehicle, like The APTERA.
