Back when I used to frame houses, I was once paid a little extra to tar the outside of a freshly parged basement wall. The overdig was super narrow and crumbly and I ended up falling against the fresh tar on my way out of the overdig. I’d done the job many times for this contractor, and had always gotten some tar on me, and I had previously used brake cleaner or carb cleaner to get it off. Well I figured I’d do the same thing this time, but do it in the shower since I had it all over me....

Ether + closed space = not so great

I was young and not real smart lol
