Yes. We have only slept about 2hrs but plan on trying to climb the mountain this afternoon and set camp before the storm hits tomorrow. Hopefully the weather man is correct. Snow should be gone by the weekend. Not sure about the higher elevations though. We are camping at about 10 ,000 ft.
You'll be feeling the altitude for sure tomorrow. That quick of altitude gain is rough in a 24-36 hr period.

Have fun!

Any last minute tips on beating altitude sickness?
Drink lots of water, don't walk faster than your heart beat, 500-1000 mg of Tylenol every 6-8 hours, and afternoon naps... I use to take diomox (Acetazolamide) for the altitude 2-3 days before climbing. Its a diaretic that prevents fluid build up. This helped prevent pulmonary and cerebral edema... Water pills have similar results to prevent fluid buildup. Maybe look for a drug store before you hit the trail head

You're camping at a high altitude so after making camp if you are getting really bad headaches or feel like you cant catch your breath you can always descend a thousand or 2 feet and bivy out the night then hike back up to your camp in the morning. Descending this way can alleviate the symptoms while your body acclimitizes. Climb high, sleep low philosophy, especially the 1st couple of days.

And stay DRY O. But you know that from home. You'll use a lot of calories if you get wet from snow and the disorientation from hypothermia will probably desensitize your awareness of altitude symptoms.
