I'm trying to time the bottom. I'm thru my first 1000, about halfway thru the other 1000 of road diesel. Been calling daily, it's still above 1.90. My last fill before chinavirus was 2.12, so I'm holding out a little. Got my 250 gasoline filled Friday, I think it's gonna be 1.99 for hi octane. Haven't got the bill yet.

First tank of gas I paid for was at 39.9 a gallon... and my minimum wage job paid 1.90 an hour. I figured out that it cost me 3 1/2 hours of labor to fill up the tank and swore that was the last tank of gas I'd ever buy. I was horrified.

First tank of gas I put in the first new car I ever bought was at 56.9 and that was an increase over when I ordered the car when it was at 49.9. Jimmy Carter was president and the oil embargo was in full swing. I sat in a line of cars for over an hour to put that tank of gas in the car.

Most I ever paid for gas was $3.65 a gallon, just one more thing I always hated about Obama.

I put 2 gallons of gas in the car last Saturday (all I'd used in 3 weeks) and paid $1.85 a gallon for it.

I haven't looked at the non-ethanol gas prices. I paid $3.99 a gallon for my non-ethanol storage gas the first part of March... stupid expensive but I've got it and that was worth a lot for my peace of mind at the time. It'll hold me through hurricane season if I don't need it now.

What I truly hate is right now gas is cheaper than it has been in a longggggg time. And I can't go on a road trip. I could put some miles on a vehicle right now with gas at these prices. :(
