I thought we might have a thread if anyone is open to sharing plants/starts/seeds, etc.
I lost my comfrey patch a few years back. Had it successfully growing for about 4 years, and then let it get destroyed
Shame on me.
I'd love to have some again.
My patch came from a grower who successfully harvested and split hers to share. (I'm not in touch with her now; it was another forum years ago). Apparently comfrey is really good at splitting root systems, and even just cutting root lengths into pieces.
I think mine was a Russian variety.
Does anyone have comfrey abundant and looking to spread around? I'd be happy to pay, and/or pay shipping, etc. for good stuff.
Pretty much anytime of year is okay to do this, as long as ground is workable, not frozen.
