It is probably a Diamond X-300A... around 10 Feet tall, 6.5 dB gain on 2-Meters, and 9.0 dB gain on 440. N connector. Pretty darn good! From My Old Man's estate. Temporarily mounted on Handrail of Deck. If I mounted it Higher????

Hit a repeater 165 miles away, with <10 Watts from My Yaesu 736R! That is a looong reach for 2-Meters!

Was just listening to a repeater in Spokane!!! From Tacoma, that is unbelievable! There must be another closer. But the feller on the Repeater was AF7J...he is in Utah! Must be cross-linked! That cannot be direct through the aether!

Yeah. Too far to be real. Found Baw Faw peak repeater that is much closer, and has the PL tone correct...so nowhere as far... still, good reach... 65 miles.

Just went looking, and found a fantastic list of repeaters, with bearinng and distances listed from Tacoma. Arranged by Frequency! All in order! So useful! Since I am only a Few Miles from Tacoma, bearings will be fairly accurate, and distances as well.
