I’m finally binging season 2. I gotta tell ya, aside from Demi Moore, the female characters are fucking ridiculous. It’s more or less like Yellowstone.
Angela (Tommy’s wife/Beth equivalent)’s outbursts are getting to the point where it’s dumb. I mean, everything sets this woman off. It’s stupid.
Ainsley (daughter) is actually redeemable, I think.
Ariana (son’s GF/Kasey’s wife’s equivalent) is fucking bullshit. What a manipulative psycho. “When I kick you out, you’re not supposed to leave but you are supposed to fight for me.” What? I think that whole conversation was A.I. @WhiteWolf It was stupid, circular, and didn’t make sense. What a stupid bitch. It’s manipulative and abusive. Gross.
The only female character I really like is Demi Moore.
Andy Garcia is fabulous. Billy Bib is great too. I really wish the scripts were better.
Lastly, my word nearly every episode has a had roadie BJ. I guess we all know what Taylor Sheridan’s kink is now. We get it dude. Good grief.

Yeah, it's hard to find anything with good writing and acting these days. Nuremburg was good; but it WAS Russell Crowe. The shrink was well played too. And just to finish it out, I'm watching the last season of Outlander. They are smooshing the last couple books events together in this season. My friend was rolling her eyes at the requisite bed scene... LOL. Hey, I know she doesn't like action movies these days, with all the blood & gore... and I don't do Hallmark movies. I wanna see things blow up!
The other thing that drives me crazy is Sheridan is banking on the audience not knowing drive times between Fort Worth, Lubbock, the Permian Basin, etc. I know they also fly, but it makes it looks like they are making these drives in a day. Plus, the outside location for the Patch Cafe is literally down the street from me so it’s ruined the suspend disbelief and what not. 😂
