I haven't seen any of those in a Coon's age of Sundays!
So, I went looking. No Joy.

If You were willing to carry a Pack, You could combine a small(ish) Mobile unit, a 13.6 VDC (nominal 12VDC) Battery, and a Pack-frame Mounted "Hot Stik Antenna, That would be the minimal CB rig possible from New Components, I think. Much larger and more cumbersome than the Walkie-Talkies of Old.

Looking on E-Bay, all the talkies I see are TIRED, and since built of Questionable quality ab initio, many are INOP. It would be a total crapshoot to buy any Twenty+ Year old talkies.

Unless You are absolutely wed to the CB freqs, You could do so much better with the FRS/GMRS gear, IMHO.

Ham Radio would be Five Levels Better than FRS/GMRS.

IMNSHO/YMMV, Etc., & so forth...

Like an actual cb? I have one pretty new. I bought it for a long trip we took and I thought little man would get a kick out of hearing the truckers talk. Except the chatter was very silent. I found out later that truckers don't use CB much. If you're interested I'll give it to you

Is a hand held or mounted unit? Either way I’m interested but especially if it’s a handheld.

Just 4 X 18650 Batteries would work a CB for Hours, and provide for a fair amount of Transmit. That would be the minimalist Operating Battery.
