Here are two pics from last year of the deer my buddy is hunting. He found these sheds. One side was over 80 inches, one was high 70's. Add 20" for width, and last year he would've got real close to 180. Now look at this year's pic above. His tines, G4's especially, are all evened out. I think this year he's 190+.
About 14 deer on the island now... a mix of does, souphounds, and this year's fawns... still mild, so
looking like end of November until the rut starts...
He was thick.. attempting to build around a dock crib. Beavers are good weather forecasters up here..
if they start piling the lumber on their lodges, it is going to be a cold winter..
