No fire Friday. You get some half assed feather sticks from some very seasoned red oak. Wasn't to wet and windy for the fire, but it was too wet and windy for the fire maker.

I'm gonna try something for some side money... With Scouting being on hold or diminishing I've got a certain skill set that can be taught to alot of fathers and sons. So Scouts charge $15-20 per scout to teach merit badges to them. I registered to become a merit badge counselor for every possible merit badge I can competently teach and am going to start marketing myself as being available for instruction for patrols and troops. I'll go to them and teach. I've started a side youtube page with that logo and specific goal in mind and have been sharing videos in our councils FB page and my own troops FB page. Alot of leaders have been sharing the videos with other leaders. I got one gig lined up already to teach wilderness survival merit badge to a local troop. So we will see!
