Well, the chaperone who came with my place - Ronnie - was in a motorcycle accident a year ago. He's paralyzed from the waist down now and in a chair. He comes out and rides up the "mountain" on the west side of my back 40; he made that trail. And he considers these, his "special" woods. Usually comes with his mom & stepdad... they unload the side by side... he transfers from his chair into it and drives using hand controls bolted to the pedals. I've seen him on the atv, too during hunting season. His brother tells me, that Ronnie is working on a "redneck" way to haul him up into a tree stand, safely.

Atv's and side by sides can be loud-ish; and an advantage of the e-bike is that they are much quieter.

I'm betting that the group of "tinkerers" we have around here can make something more functional, to compete with both of those designs and solve the engine noise issue.

Have been musing on a Six-Wheeler for a while now,.

Four E-conversion (everything in the wheel) Wheels at the Rear (themselves converted to smallest diameter 20"? - works like a "Gear Down"), on a fore-and-aft rocker arrangement.

Each 27/28" Front Wheel to have Disc Brake. Small Tilt Bed behind Twin Seats. Front Wheels to be mounted on a beam axle, pivots at Center.

The design shown has a serious weakness for heavy loads - chassis will be in torsion (racking) if one Front Wheel is on a bump and other is not.

Most of those ATVs could be converted the old fashion way with an electric motor of suitable size and battery pack.
Like they used to do with cars and pickups back in the days before hybrid everything’s.
Probably kits out there now.

I'm looking at the Prius battery packs for a power base, both for solar and for mobile. They hold a pretty good amount of power for the size, and they can be serviced to replace dead cells. The electric rig in the first video looks like something I"d go to town in, given the options.
