Normally, I would scoff at such a set up.
But today, with all that's going on this almost makes sense to me.
A unit that heats your space and can cook for you as well.
Perhaps, it's because I'm cold and hungry at the moment. But the duality of this system appeals to me.
I just finished a bowl of hot home made turkey soup, and I took some comfort that you could be sitting next to your heater, flip a switch, and cook or warm a meal, flip it back and have heat again.
I have had a Buddy Heater for many years and it has served me well. It got used a lot too.
I'd wager the Buddy Flex would have been a god send for many folks in Texas during last year's ice storm.
Obviously a stationary or car camping set up, wouldn't want to carry it on my back.
But still, I see possibilities for one or two.
