I like old stuff. LOL. And archeology and history. So I thought I'd share this for something fun & interesting. These games still exist in modern forms in some places.

That is really cool. I love strategy-oriented board games, and my son does too. I'm going to try and look up the rules for some of those so we can play! Most look like they could easily be made with a couple pieces of scrap lumber!

We play backgammon and chess - rarely - here. Hol's boss was explain hafentafl to me. I've been tempted to get a go board. Long ago, I used to play military strategy games. LOL... I was a weird date, I guess.
