I guess it's winter; it's finally here.

It was -11F when I went out to clear the driveway this morning. The wife already had yesterday, so I don't know how much snow actually accumulated in total, but I heard 7-8 inches. Glad it was the dry, powdery stuff and not the wet, heavy murdery kind. Supposed to get some serious wind through here later.

Not growing anything indoors this winter, but I was glad to see that my meager potato harvest hasn't started sprouting. Trying the dark, cold and as humid as is possible (not very) this time around. Dark, moderately cool and dry didn't work out so well last time around.

Anyone having issues with tomato's and peppers not turning red. all my tomatoes and red peppers have been green for a solid month. The plants are healthy. We've had plenty of rain. Just won't ripen.

My nieghbor is picking tomatoes, squash, peppers right now.
