Buck suggested this to watch last night (we saw the first episode) - and then I asked him, if he wanted to watch a couple queers making out. We watched The Jackal instead. LOTS of good older series & movies to watch. Been through the Sacketts & associated films. I won't complain watching a young Tom Selleck & Sam Elliott.

That garbage has gotten into every single show made lately.
Cartoons for kids with 2 "mommies" or 2 "daddies"
Every show has to have a faggot couple or 2

I know gay people, they don't come to the house and we don't hang out, some are family. I can go weeks months and in one instance years without thinking about them or seeing them. It isn't the "norm" for most people to accept it. I'm not a ass about their life choices and am civil to them when I see them but they know that shit isn't looked favorably on here.

Like Vader said if they want us to stay out of their bedroom, they need to quit showing it... (loosely interpreted :ROFLMAO:)

Without reading any spoilers, I had a hunch where the third episode was headed. Gotta make the survivalist into a closeted homosexual because of course he is. Given the time jump, he could just as easily have gone full Silence of the Lambs and been serving up trespassers medium rare, but no, gotta check off all the boxes.

That said, I have to remind myself that this is HBO, and nothing comes as a shock to me where they're concerned. It was a throwaway episode way too early in the first season, so that's about the only thing that surprised me.

We watched The Jackal instead.
Funny, I was just thinking about watching that. I've seen it more times than I can count. Such a good flick!

I think I'm going to just have to scrub my eyes with bleach after this last episode and stick with it a bit longer, because I'm finding that IDGAF about any other shows out there right now, and sometimes I need a break from the Interwebz. To at least some extent, this is giving me The Road vibes, so that's a positive. But if I'm going to be nauseated by a TV show, I'd prefer it be due to excessive gore than . . . this.
