Looked everywhere, local, for a 3.5 gallon bucket.
Do they still make them?

The ones i want are basically short 5 gallon buckets, use same size lid as a 5 gallon.
Granger sells them these are some others.

My wife has been missing a key ingredient for some family favorites, for (she claims) almost a year. Apparently, instead of sending online orders via USPS and such, Wal-Mart is trying to compete with Amazon and doing home delivery using DoorDash. These showed up looking for a good home:

That'll keep ya happy at Breakfast for a coupla weeks!

With Rainy Season Kicking Off Tomorrow Morning, We trimmed all the jungle trying to inhabit our Driveway, Put out the Trash and Recycling Early, Secured all the planters (empty or full) that were recently relocated below our Deck, Closed up the Greenhouse Vents, Fueled up all vehicles and Gas Cans (anticipating Power Out Drill, as Winds, SunderThorms and Extra Heavy Precip is expected).

Had a storm go through last night, dropping one of our neighbor's trees on a power line, and others elsewhere in the area, so power has been out since 3AM. My wife drove over to borrow my parents' generator so we don't end up having lots of refrigerated/frozen food going bad, but buying one of our own is now a priority. We don't have a great spot for it, but that will need to be sorted out.

By the time I got home, right after filling a couple gas cans with "non-oxygenated super unleaded" go-go juice, the power was back on. It actually worked out fine, as my dad had been previously commenting about needing to use up the last of the two-year-old gas that was in the generator. Plus, the elderly neighbors next door were able to plug in their fridge as well. Oh, and we didn't have to throw out any food, which was the goal.

For those of you living in states prone to harsh winters, where are you situating your generators in the event that you need several days of up-time? Store indoors and run outdoors? I hear a lot of different things. I was thinking that if I bought one, it could go under the deck, which gives access to the appliances that would need it most, but if it's -20F, not sure how detrimental that would be.
