Like to use Ghost and Jamaican Scotch bonnet red peppers in it....... handfull of cayenne, couple of habaneros, maybe some of the Jalapenios for the color, My red chili, I use 12 different peppers, plus, not a single mater in sight but its red from the glow, if that first smell dont make that sweat bead out on your upper lip, its not quite right yet......
Things are approaching "Hot Enough" just when My Lips Writhe without conscious Command😁

- Replaced all batteries in our smoke / carbon monoxide detectors.

- Added a couple more of them.

- Put the generator in a sealed 55 gallon drum along with it's accessories, extra parts, oil, and such in the barn to protect it.

- Scrubbed out the stovepipe, inspected all the gaskets, replaced two of them in the wood stove.

- Put up a second heat lamp for the chicks. Having some pretty cold nights here, and getting colder.

- Going to be 33/34 degrees here Monday night, so we pulled the pepper plants and gathered the last of the peppers.

Emergency (not scheduled) repairs to Distiller. Over Twenty Five Years in service, finally needed a New Condenser Cooling Fan.

Decided to bake out all the scale that had collected in the Retort.
Replaced Controller and Heating Coil, as both had been in service for a long time, and were looking a tad tired...

Should be good for at least a coupla Years.

Picked up 2 of the 4 IBC totes I’m going to be installing as a rain catchment system now that we have a metal roof. Getting them all from local wineries.

Thought about doing a single 1000 gal tank, but a single failure and all water and water storage ability is gone. Decided not having all eggs in one basket was worth the extra cost. Also allows us to have water more conveniently located in several places.

Big day for preparedness around the bacash house!
Brought another couple bundles of oak home for firewood, we’ve been burning at night since it’s been down into the low 40s.

Topped off all gas cans, filled the new 14 gallon portable, swapped out 2 propane tanks, got a bunch more little ones as well. Big walmart run today, topping off the pantry a bit. Ace run to get a few odds and ends.

Got exercise in on the bike. Loving the Echelon.

Finished our loan paperwork, now to just get this land deal closed in a week.

Changed the smoke detector batteries.
Took the bird screens off of the chimney and got the wood stove ready to go for the Winter.
Hit Sam's and Wally World up for a few last minute items before the election.
Picked up a Taurus .38 for my DIL for Christmas.
Got Mrs. NoFly a new holster for her .38.
Winterized the bee hives. (Entrance reducers, bottom boards and one more feeder before the freeze sets in)

Spent a Wonderful Afternoon, building from parts. TWO AR-15 Lowers, and cleaning, adjusting, repairing a Sweet Old Grandmaw's (81 Years Young) Belgian Semi-Auto 22 Rifle - you know the one - loads through the stock, breaks down. Hers has a really Beautiful Stock, with extensive figuring. Bit of a sad case, though - speckled with Rust. Bore is good. Rear Sight is broken, and is so old, is completely different from the replacements offered by Brownells or Numrich.
