Looks good, but they say nothing about pricing. Also, why do they import their windows from Europe? No American companies making good windows?

I have not investigated pricing. I'm afraid to, but I will. Just those windows are hella-expensive.

Its a long-term equation. Do you spend more (maybe even double) on the house shell with the prospects of zero utility bills for the life of the home?

With their super-efficient passive designs, the required heating and cooling input will be VERY small. That makes it much easier and cheaper to handle it with off-grid tech like solar cells and/or propane tanks.

IMO, if it is double the price, at my current age; that only makes sense if I am building/buying it for my kids to take ownership when I die.

Another reason why I LOVE this type of company/process is that it makes it much easier to build a house way the hell out in the middle of nowhere. They bring what they need and the time on site is much much lower.

...like you find a hundred acres with no utility service, and you want to drop a house down on a clearing.

Airtight means one can use an overpressure system to keep outside air outside if there's cause to do so. By and large, I like what this bunch is up to.

The waste reduction alone is very pleasing to my thrifty old soul....

Me, I like earth-berm construction, and a way to keep the air pressure needed to keep outside things outside in time of need. Control over the intake air is one of the things that can make life far safer if some bunch of thugs decides to set your place on fire.
